Mama Cherri is a washed Caturra and Catuai from Doña Isa, grown at 1,000 to 1,250 meters in Coto Brus by 11 women smallholders who sell their cherry to La Minita's Rio Negro mill. They're paid a premium on top of the price, which funds farm improvements, community projects, and mentorship.
Coto Brus was settled by Italian families in the 1950s, and coffee is what made the valley thrive. Mama Cherri baked you something: cherry pie straight from the oven, a handful of caramel corn, and a bright, vibrant finish.
